Aasaaree Miskiy
Hura Old Mosque was probably first built by S. Gazee Hassan Izzuddin or Dhonbandaara (1759 -1757) as it was attributed to him in the scroll found in the mosque. The present mosque was built in 1925 and later restored in 1994. The mosque compound has the mosque building, an eight sided coral stone well and a cemetery with two mausoleums and coral grave markers. The mosque building has a prayer hall, Mihrab niche, a front Dhaala and rising stairs. It has a simple plinth, walls, columns, two tiered roof, timber ceiling, doors and windows with Miskit Jaali. The exterior and the interiors are simple. The original mosque was probably built using coral stone but the mosque has been modified with plasterworks to such an extent that coral stone is not visible in the mosque.
މި މިސްކިތުން ފެނިފައިވާ ފަތްކޮޅެއްގައި އައްސުލްތާން ޣާޒީ ހަސަން އިއްޒުއްދީނަށް (1757-1759) ނިސްބަތްކުރެވިފައިވާތީ، ހުރާ އާސާރީ މިސްކިތަކީ އެމަނިކުފާނު ބިނާކުރެއްވި މިސްކިތެއްކަމަށް ބެލެވެއެވެ. މިއަދު ފެންނާންހުރި މިސްކިތަކީ 1925 ގައި ބިނާކޮށް އަދި 1994 ގައި މަރާމާތުކުރެވުނު އިމާރާތެކެވެ. މިސްކިތުގެ ގޯތިތެރޭގައިވަނީ މިސްކިތާއި އަށް ކަނަށް ހުރި ހިރިގަލު ފެންވަޅަކާއި އަދި ގަބުރުސްތާނެކެވެ. މިތަނުގައި ހިރިގަލު މަހާނައެއް ހިމެނޭ ދެ ޒިޔާރަތެއް ވެއެވެ. މިސްކިތުގެ އިމާރާތުގައި ހިމެނެނީ ނަމާދުކުރާބަޔަކާއި މިހުރާބަކާއި ކުރިމަތީގައިވާ ދާލައަކާއި ވަންނަދޮރުމަތީގައި ހުރި ހަރުފަތްބަރިއަކާއި އިސްކޮށްފައިވާ ސާދާ ހިރިގަލު ތަޅުމަކާއި ރާނައިފައިވާ ފާރުތަކާއި ތަނބާއި ދެބަޔައްހުރި ފުރާޅަކާއި ލަކުޑި ފަންގިފިލައަކާއި ލަކުޑި ދޮރާއި އަދި ލަކުޑިޖާލިޖެހި ކުޑަދޮރެވެ. މިސްކިތުގެ ބޭރާއި އެތެރެވެސް ފެންނަނީ ވަރަށް އާދައިގެ ގޮތަކަށެވެ. ބެލެވޭގޮތުގައި މިސްކިތުގެ ފާރުތައް އެންމެފުރަތަމަ ހަދާފައިހުރީ ހިރިގަލުންނެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް މަރާމާތުކުރުމުގައި ސިމެންތިޖެހުމުގެ ސަބަބުން ހިރިގަލުގެ އެއްވެސް ނިޝާނެއް މިއަދު ފެންނާކަށް ނެތެވެ.
