Aasaaree Miskiy
Kondey Old mosque is believed to be first built by the two master carpenters (Ali Maavadi Kaleyfaanu and Mahmud Maavadi Kaleyfaanu) of Male' Hakuru Miskiy using its leftover coral stone and timber. It was probably built during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim Iskandhar I (1648-1687). The present mosque was rebuilt and extensively remodelled recently. The cemetery has been damaged with hardly any standing coral grave markers. The grave markers lying on the compound display high quality carvings. The mosque building has a simple prayer hall with an open fenda on the entrance. There are no decorations or carvings and the mosque is built using masonry and cement plastering along with timber carpentry techniques for construction.
ކޮނޑޭ އާސާރީ މިސްކިތް ފުރަތަމަ ބިނާކުރެވުނުކަމަށް ބެލެވެނީ މާލޭ ހުކުރުމިސްކިތް ބިނާކުރި މަޝްހޫރު ދެ މާވަޑިން ކަމަށްވާ އަލީ މާވަޑި ކިލޭފާނާއި މުޙައްމަދު މާވަޑި ކިލޭފާނެވެ. އިމާރާތްކުރުމަށް ބޭނުންކޮށްފައިވަނީ މާލޭ ހުކުރުމިސްކިތުން ބާކީވި ހިރިގަލާއި ލަކުޑިއެވެ. ބެލެވެނީ މިއީ އައްސުލްތާން އިބްރާހިމް އިސްކަންދަރުގެ (1648-1687) ދުވަސްވަރު ކަމަށެވެ. މިއަދު ހުރި މިސްކިތަކީ އަލުން އިމާރާތް ކުރެވި އަދި ދާދިފަހުން ބޮޑެތި ބަދަލުތަކެއް ގެނެވުނު މިސްކިތެކެވެ. މިތާގައިވާ ގަބުރުސްތާނު ވަނީ ވަރަށްބޮޑަށް ވީރާނާވެ ގޮސްފައެވެ. ކޮއްޅަށްހުރި އެއްވެސް މަހާނަގަލެއް ނެތެވެ. ވެއްޓިފައި ހުރި ހިރިގަލު މަހާނަގައުތަކުގައި ވަރަށް ފުރިހަމައަށް ކަނޑާނެގިފައިވާ ކުރެހުންތައް ފެންނާން ހުރެއެވެ. މިސްކިތުގައި ސާދާ ކުޑަ ނަމާދުކުރާތަނަކާއި ދޮރުމައްޗަށް ހާމައަށް އޮންނަ ފެންޑާއެއް ހުރެއެވެ. އިމާރާތުގައި ގަލުވަޑާމުގެ މަސައްކަތްތެރިކަމާއި ފަންނުވެރިކަން ފެންނާކަށް ނުހުރެއެވެ. އަދި މިސްކިތް އިމާރާތްކޮށްފައިވަނީ އެޅިގަލުން ރާނާފައިވާ ފާރުންނާއި ލަކުޑި ވަޑާމުގެ މަސައްކަތުންނެވެ. ފާރުތަކުގައި ހުރީ ސިމެންތިން އުވަޖަހާފައެވެ.
