Veyvah Old Mosque is probably built approximately 400 years ago and continues its use as a mosque till today. It is a small coral stone mosque with 'Dhaala' as later extensions and does not have fine ornamentation in terms of coral carving and lacquer work. All the structures are in poor dilapidated condition. The mosque building has a prayer hall, Dhaala on three sides, one entrance stair, tiered roof, simple coral base and coffered ceiling. The mosque complex does not have boundary walls but has two wells, a sundial and cemetery with coral tombstones.
